Mark Pentleton is a former high school teacher who has built a highly successful business around podcasting. He launched Coffee Break Spanish in 2006 which quickly became one of the most successful educational podcasts ever produced, having been in the top 5 education podcasts on iTunes for over seven years. Since then Mark has established the Radio Lingua Network, building a network of 27 podcasts covering languages from Arabic to Zulu, and Radio Lingua podcasts have had over 140 million downloads.
In addition to the free content provided on iTunes and various other platforms, Mark has focused on developing a range of premium content which has ensured a healthy six-figure turnover year on year. Mark’s podcasts have earned him a European Languages Award, the European Professional Podcast of the Year, and numerous “Best of” awards in iTunes for the past four years.
